Microneedling
Skin Microneedling - Collagen Induction Therapy for Skin Renewal
Microneedling is a clinically proven, minimally invasive treatment designed to stimulate your skin’s natural healing process and restore a healthier, more radiant complexion.
Also known as 'Collagen Induction Therapy'. This advanced procedure uses ultra-fine, medical-grade needles to create controlled micro-injuries within the skin. These micro-channels trigger a powerful regenerative response—boosting collagen and elastin production, accelerating cell turnover, and enhancing overall skin quality.
The result is firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin—achieved naturally, without altering your features.
How It Works
During treatment, precision-controlled micro-needles create tiny, superficial punctures in the skin. This activates the body’s wound-healing cascade, encouraging:
Collagen and elastin synthesis
Skin cell regeneration
Improved blood flow and nutrient delivery
As the skin repairs, you’ll notice enhanced texture, improved tone, and a visible “plumping” effect.
What Can Microneedling Treat?
Microneedling is a versatile treatment suitable for a wide range of skin concerns:
Dull, tired skin – Restores radiance and revitalises the complexion
Fine lines & wrinkles – Softens early signs of ageing
Acne scarring & textural irregularities – Smooths and refines skin texture
Pigmentation & sun damage – Helps fade dark spots and uneven tone
Stretch marks – Improves skin elasticity and appearance
Why Choose Microneedling?

Microneedling Treatment Options:
Microneedling (Standard):
A results-driven treatment using precision micro-needles to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Improves skin texture, tone, fine lines, and mild scarring—ideal for overall skin rejuvenation.
Microneedling with Hyaluronic Acid (HA):
Combines microneedling with deeply hydrating hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture, enhance skin plumpness, and restore radiance.
Perfect for dry, dull, or dehydrated skin.
Microneedling with Exosomes:
An advanced regenerative treatment incorporating exosome serums to accelerate skin repair, reduce inflammation, and significantly boost collagen production.
Ideal for ageing skin, pigmentation concerns, acne scarring, and loss of vitality.
Microneedling with Biotin (Vitamin B7):
A targeted approach designed to support skin health at a cellular level. Biotin helps strengthen the skin barrier, improve clarity, and refine uneven texture.
Best suited for acne-prone, congested, or lacklustre skin.
Microneedling with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma):
Microneedling combined with PRP is a powerful regenerative treatment that works by stimulating your skin’s natural healing and repair processes.
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production, while PRP—derived from your own blood and rich in growth factors enhances this process by accelerating tissue repair and cellular renewal.
Together, they can significantly help improve skin texture and tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimise acne scars and enlarged pores, and restore a smoother, more radiant complexion.
This combination is also highly effective for improving skin laxity.
Not sure which option is right for you?
We offer tailored consultations to assess your skin and recommend the most suitable treatment plan for optimal results.
For optimal results, an initial course of 3-6 treatments, spaced between 4-6 weeks apart, is recommended. Results may vary depending on your skin type.
To maintain and build on your results, a top-up session every 3–6 months is advised.
This keeps the skin in a state of active repair and regeneration, which maintains the results from the initial treatment.
Prices starts from £150, depending on treatment area and additional choice of products.

Myth vs Reality
1. Is microneedling painful?
The Myth: It sounds painful because of the needles.
The Reality: We apply a high-strength topical numbing cream 20–30 minutes before we begin. Most clients describe the sensation as a light, scratchy vibration or a "sandpaper" feeling. It is very tolerable!
2. Will I leave the clinic with a bleeding face?
The Myth: You’ll look like a horror movie character.
The Reality: While "pinpoint bleeding" can occur during the treatment (which is a sign the treatment is working!), we clean the skin thoroughly before you leave. You may likely appear like you have a moderate sunburn for 24–48 hours, but no active bleeding.
3. How "deep" do the needles go?
The Reality: The depth is adjustable and customized to your specific skin concerns. For a glow or light texture, we stay very shallow. For acne scarring or deep wrinkles, we go slightly deeper. We control the device precisely to ensure safety.
4. Is it just for the face?
The Reality: Not at all! Microneedling is incredible for treating stretch marks on the stomach or thighs, "crepey" skin on the neck/décolletage, and even surgical scars anywhere on the body.
5. How soon will I see results?
The Reality: You’ll notice a "glow" within a week as the top layer sheds, but the real magic happens at the 4–6 week mark. This is when your body has finished producing new collagen and elastin, leading to firmer, smoother skin.
6. Can I wear makeup the next day?
The Reality: We recommend waiting at least 24 hours to apply makeup. Your "micro-channels" are open and healing, so we want to keep the skin clean and hydrated with the specific serums we provide or recommend.
Pre-Treatment Instructions:
Preparing for Your Microneedling Session:
To ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for your "skin reset," please follow these simple guidelines:
7 Days Before: Gentle is Best
- Avoid Intense Sun: Skip the tanning beds and heavy sun exposure. We cannot treat sunburned skin.
- Stop Certain Actives: Pause the use of Retin-A, Retinols, or Vitamin A creams. These can make the skin too sensitive for the treatment.
3 Days Before: Clean Slate
- No Waxing or Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, electrolysis, or depilatory creams on the area being treated.
- Avoid Anti-Inflammatories: If possible, avoid Ibuprofen or Aspirin (unless medically required), as these can increase the chance of tiny bruises.
The Day of Your Appointment:
- Come "Bare-Faced": If possible, arrive with no makeup, lotions, or perfumes on the treatment area. (Don't worry if you're coming from work—we can cleanse it for you!)
- Hydrate: Drink plenty of water. Hydrated skin responds much better to the collagen-induction process.
- Be Prepared for a "Pink" Glow: You will leave the clinic looking like you have a moderate sunburn. Most clients find this fades significantly by the next morning.
A Quick Note on Comfort:
- We will apply a professional-grade numbing cream 20–30 minutes before we begin. Most clients find the sensation very manageable—like a light, scratchy vibration.
Aftercare Guide
Congratulations on your "Skin Reset"! Your skin is now busy producing fresh collagen. Here is how to protect your investment over the next few days:
The First 24 Hours: The "Hands Off" Phase
- Keep it Clean: Avoid touching your face. Your skin has thousands of "micro-channels" open, and we want to keep bacteria away.
- Skip the Makeup: Give your skin a full 24 hours to breathe. If you must wear something the next day, use a clean brush and mineral-based makeup.
- No Sweat: Avoid heavy exercise, saunas, or hot showers. Excess heat can increase swelling and irritation.
- Sleep on Your Back: If possible, use a clean silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction.
Days 2–5: The "Healing" Phase
- Gentle Cleansing Only: Use a mild, non-exfoliating cleanser. Avoid "scrubs" or washcloths; use your fingertips and lukewarm water.
- Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Your skin will likely feel tight or dry. Use the hydrating serum we recommended (Hyaluronic Acid is your best friend right now!).
- Sun Protection is Non-Negotiable: Your skin is extra sensitive to UV right now. Wear a physical SPF 30+ every single day, even if it’s cloudy.
- Don’t Pick: You might experience some light flaking or "peeling" around day 3. This is normal! Do not pick or peel it; let it shed naturally.
Days 7+: Back to Business
- Resume Actives: You can usually go back to your Retinols, Vitamin C, and exfoliating acids once all redness and flaking have completely subsided (usually after 7 days).
What to Expect:
- Day 1: Moderate redness (like a sunburn) and tight skin.
- Day 2-3: Reduced redness, potential for slight swelling or "sandpaper" texture.
- Day 5-7: Redness is gone; skin starts to look brighter and smoother.
